Together, we strive to build a brighter, more equitable future for all. At REEDS, we're committed to making a tangible impact on society, focusing on several key areas:
OUR WORKS
EMPOWERING CHILDREN
We believe in providing every child with access to education and protection from exploitation. Through our free education centers and collaboration with governmental initiatives like the Education Guarantee Scheme, we've been instrumental in combating illiteracy and preventing child trafficking. Our efforts have helped numerous children find safety and hope for a brighter future.
WOMEN EMPOWERMENT
Being close to the India-Nepal border, Tanakpur district Champawat, Uttarakhand, is well suited for human trade, that is why the Ujjwala projectof Women and Child Development Ministry of the government of India is being operated by REEDS since 2010, till now more than 1100 women and children have returned home safely. It is the resolution of the organization that this area should be zero zone in the field of human trafficking . Despite thr risks involved, we remain steadfast in our mission to combat this menace and ensure the safety of every Individual.
RURAL DEVELOPMENT
Through comprehensive surveys and collaborative projects with esteemed partners like ADB and Tata Consultancy Engineers, we've addressed critical issues such as access to clean drinking water, sanitation facilities, and overall community development. Our efforts have not only improved living conditions but have also empowered communities to advocate for their needs effectively.
ENVIRONMENT
As stewards of the environment, we actively contribute to initiatives like the Namami Gange Project, focusing on tree plantation and environmental conservation efforts. Our aim is to create sustainable ecosystems that benefit both present and future generations.
